The pie chart shows State approaches to relative providers and health and safety requirements for the 2000-2001 plan year. Fifty six percent of States reported that they subject all relative providers to the same requirements, 26 percent subject some or all relative providers to different requirements, and 18 percent exempt all relative providers from all requirements. This is in comparison to Chart 6.2.2, which shows that 62 percent of States reported that they subject all relative providers to the same requirements, 22 percent subject some or all relative providers to different requirements, and 16 percent exempt all relative providers from all requirements.
